Our Story

In the world of technology and online dating, it's only fitting that us millennial's met through a dating app, otherwise known as Tinder. Upon joining Tinder, I would say neither of us really had any intention of actually finding, let alone getting into, a serious relationship. You hear about all of the Tinder horror stories, but rarely do you hear about the successful ones.

I had gone through my fair share of guys swiping right and messaging me some of the most ridiculous and uncalled for things. Many times I just never responded or I would unmatch them. Yeah, I went on dates here and there but no one ever caught my attention; nor did they meet the standards of "boyfriend material".

I had soon become fed-up with the app and was ready to delete it when I received a notification that I had a match. Obviously, I thought Jon was good looking... otherwise I would have never swiped right to begin with. We began messaging back-and-forth and instantly hit it off. We talked for days, both through text and on the phone, for hours on end until we finally decided it was time to meet face-to-face.

For our first date, Jon took me out to dinner, where we never stopped laughing. We had the best conversation and it felt like we had known each other for years. We began doing everything together and became the best of friends.

It wasn't much longer after we began dating that we decided to move-in together. Shortly after, we adopted a dog and got engaged. Now, here we are, planning our wedding with all of you lovely people!

Sometimes you find what you're looking for when you're not looking for it at all, and that's what happened with us. I'd say we both were a breath of fresh air and came into each other's lives for a reason.

I can't imagine spending life without him, and I look forward to officially spending forever with my best friend and the person I love most.
